Connecting My EWC BMPlus 3000 to Generac Automatic Transfer Switch

I have an EWC BMPlus 3000 Board controlling 3 zones in my home. I recently installed a Generac standby generator with a Generac Automatic Transfer Switch. The ATS has a built-in load shedding capability that acts as a switch to turn the thermostat off or on depending on the load demand for the generator. It allows the HVAC unit to be switched on if the generator has enough capacity, but not allow it on if doing so would overload the generator.

The instructions call for a two wire thermostat wire be run between the ATS and the thermostat to facilitate the load shedding. However, I have no idea how to accomplish this with the EWC control board. I have asked my HVAC installer for assistance, but he is not familiar with connecting a generator to an HVAC system and is not getting back to me. Does anyone have any experience on connecting a standby generator/ATS to an EWC BMPlus 3000 board that could share instructions for doing so with me?
