I have a bit oversized system for my ducts.
So when ut3000 switches between zones I get B3 error stating the blower motor functioning is limited. Currently, zone1 is 50% and zone 2 is 50% out of 2 total zones. My question is if I reduce zoning to 40% and 40% (if it’s possible) will it reduce the air flow (by decreasing the blow motor rate) or it will reduce the heating/cooling capacity?
Can someone explain how Zone weight work?
System is Daikin Fit 5 ton (indoor and air handler)

Re: Ut3000 zoning weight behavior
Hopefully a EWC specialist will chime in but based off the documentation the zone weights do not have to equal 100% but going above 100% is not permitted. So your 40/40 could work.
"Default 2 zone is 60/40....It may be necessary to assign very low weight values to some or all zones, in order to avoid air noise issues. The total assigned weight values do not have to equal 100%, but going above 100% is not permitted"
I would like clarification as well if the zone weights change the cooling/heating capacity or does it just limit the blower speed range?
