Emergency Heat Heat pump

I have the 300 system with std non heat pump thermostats controlling 2 zone dampers. The thermostat does not have an E-Heat option so how do you activate the E Heat if there is a issue with the HP system running?

Your backup heat will turn on by the staging timer on the top left hand side of the Bmplus 3000. If there is a problem with the heat pump there is a switch (EM / NORM switch) on the bottom right hand side of the Bmplus 3000 turn that switch to EM and the board will bypass your heat pump and just run your backup heat.
