New house currently has a Rev B installed that is failing to open a damper. I was able to get a replacement ordered for fairly cheap, but realized it wasn't Rev B when I unpackaged. The only real difference I can tell is that Rev B added the "C" Common line. The Rev A does not have this.
Am I correct in assuming that this line is mostly for additional troubleshooting and is not required for normal functionality?

You got yourself a older Bmplus 3000 board. You do not need the "C" wire. This board will work perfectly fine with out the "C" terminal.
