Wiring 2 stage nest thermostat to zone board?

I have a NCM300 and the way it controls the 2nd stage coming on is how long the furnace is running. I was told I would get my thermostat to control it but would have to wire in a isolation relay. I’m not sure how to do that and would I have to wire one for each zone?
