Hello -
I am homeowner.
I have a 3 zone setup in my home. I have single stage gas furnace and A/C. I will be finishing the basement and need a 4th zone. I am planning on replacing the ST-3E with a BMPlus 5000. I am also replacing my thermostats (one at a time) with ecobees.
I do not have a heat pump. I have attached a picture of my current panel.
Can you confirm the connections to the system currently connected to the ST-3E would go to the following BMPlus:
G >> G
Y >> Y1
W >> W1
R >> RH
For the DIP switches, what do I do
System: GAS
HP: ? Does it matter if there is no Heat Pump? Or what do I set to?
Fan Delay: OFF
Purge: Suggestion?
2nd stage: I have a single stage, what do I do with this one?
50% rule: I have a single stage, what do I do with this one?
SAS: Suggestion?
Fan: GAS
Any concerns with installing an Ecobee in Zone 1 and leaving my old Robershaw thermostats on Zone 2 and Zone 3? In the current setup Zone 2 and 3 are slaves. It does not seem that will be the case with the BMPlus.
Thank you for your help.
