I feel like giving the humidifier fan control could hurt my heating operation. Isn't it enough to add a current sensing relay so it at least has a safety proving the fan?? I get it that it wants 170deg before the fan comes on. I guess the furnace board should still bring the fan on when it is supposed to regardless of the G being interrupted by the humidifer board. Any problems here or should i just have faith in the diagram??
Thanks....

Re: S2000 control wiring
The terminals G1 & G2 are Normally Closed, therefore allowing a fan call from the thermostat to pass through and operate normally.
The terminals R & G2 are Normally Opened and close when there is a demand for humidity, allowing the humidifier to operate independently of the heating cycle. Also during a demand for humidity, the G1 & G2 terminals are opened, which prevents a back feed through the thermostat inadvertently operating the compressor.
