Hi,
I have an STC-2E wired for 2 zone, both heating and cooling. I just noticed that my fan is not shutting down, although the actual heat kicks on and off fine. It has been in service in this configuration for about 6 years. If I disconnect G on the STC-2E the blower turns off. I interpret this to mean that it isn't a stuck fan relay switch. If I disconnect thermostat 2 R on the STE-2E, nothing changes, the fan still runs. This leads me to believe it is T1. How can I trouble-shoot this? The odd thing is, if I remove G from T1 at the thermostat the blower continues to run. I'm not sure if my assumptions are correct or not. Any help?
Thanks,
Bob
Fan continuously running
Re: Fan continuously running
It dose sound like the "G" circuit is stuck, but a couple of other test. Call 1-800-446-3110 X490.
