EWC Humidistat 072000 Accuracy

I've had the EWC S2000 Humidstat for about 6 years and it still runs great. I'm not sure about the accuracy of the EWC Humidistat that came with the system. It indicates that the Humidity in the house is about 40-45 percent, but we have two other portable Humidity measurement devices ,and they indicate closer to 20 percent humidity in same area as the EWC Humidistat. Is there a way to calibrate the EWC Humidistat?
