Hi,
I had my furnace serviced and I had the HVAC guy fit in a digital prog. thermostat from nationalgrid. (PSP721U)
He had trouble connecting the wires and finally matched with the EWC-ST-2E zone control circuit diagram. The furnace works and the thermostat seem to work fine and furnace shuts off when the thermostat asks to stop.
Now, I reviewed the EWC-ST-2E supported thermostat and Luxpro PSP721U is not listed. Can one of you experts tell if it is OK to use a thermostat that is not listed in the EWC support manual? Will this damage the Furnace or the zone control unit?
Thanks!

That thermostat will work fine with your panel and you don't have to worry about it damaging anything. The thermostats that are listed are just a few recommendations but the only guideline your thermostat needs to follow to be compatible with that panel is a separate o and separate b terminal which your thermostat has.
