Expected Damper Operation

I have the EWC 3000 Plus Controller.

When Zone 1 is cooled off and the thermostat stops calling for cool air, should I expect the zone 1 damper to close? If yes, is there a delay in the damper closing? Or does the damper just stay open until the other zone calls?

Jim,

Was Zone 1 the only zone calling at the time? When there is no longer a demand for heating or cooling, the equipment will shut down and the control panel will default all zones Open.

Oh okay, the question was answered then. Both zones were opened when the system stopping calling for cool in both zones. Thanks!
