Hello,
I have a recently installed Daikin Fit system with the UT3000 and 3 zones. All zones are using Daikin One+ thermostats.
Everything is working well except that the fan speed during purge is annoyingly high.
The purge setting has been changed from 50% to 25%, but seemed to have minimal, if any, impact.
I see the UT3000 manual have several notes about purge speed, but to this point neither my installer or myself have been able to find a setting that notably reduces the purge fan speed.
My unscientific observation is that the fan speed seems to roughly equal the max fan speed I've experienced in high load situations, meaning it is far higher than I experience during normal runs.
Any assistance is appreciated.

Re: Daikin Fit - high fan speed during purge
I have the exact same system and also have the annoying Purge noise. Mine is also set at 25%, but seems like it's on full blast. Not sure how to solve this.

I'm in the same boat. Any resolution?

Stuck with the fixed purge time?
Re: Daikin Fit - high fan speed during purge
Does it happen every 210 seconds as per manual?

Re: Daikin Fit - high fan speed during purge
From my understanding the UT3000 will hold the last calling zone open for 210 sec to purge.
I believe the Daikin fit handles its own purge at the end of any cooling or heating operations at a reasonable fan speed. Once that finishes the UT3000 kicks in further purging the system at what seems to be 100% fan speed for the 210 seconds.
I'm a little disappointed why this 210 sec fixed purge isn't something that can be adjusted or disabled. I have adjusted the purge fan speed to 25% but it still seems to ramp the fans to 100%
HVAC equipment attic
Z1 Master bedroom (third floor) 5%
Z2 Living room/kitchen (second floor) 80%
Z3 Guest bedroom/laundry (first floor) 15%
The master bedroom is its own zone. In the middle of the night when the master bedroom calls for air, the Daikin system runs and cools fine but when the 210 sec purge happens it ramps the fans to 100% which is so loud it can sometimes wake you up.
None of the different Daikin air profiles match the purge cycle fan speed so its always jarring in the middle of the night when the purge happens.

I also struggle from these 100% air flows.. I am not sure if it’s related to the purge feature though. Just in the middle of night a few times for sure air handler is working on full and blowing cold air in heating mode
