Hello,
I have a BMPlus3000 rev B control panel connected to my HVAC system.
I'd like to have 2 second floor thermostats (wired to ZONE2 T'STAT and ZONE3 T'STAT) controlling a single zone (ZONE2) of dampers (SID6 and SID8) on my second floor. Is there anything inherently unsafe or wrong with jumpering the control panel's ZONE2 MOTOR output to the ZONE3 MOTOR output so that regardless of which/both thermostat is calling for heat/cool ZONE2 would be energized at the board's output and thus opening all my second floor dampers?
Thank you,
Bryan
Jumpering zone motor outputs together
Re: Jumpering zone motor outputs together
You sure can. There is nothing wrong with that.

Thank you. I just got around to making this change yesterday, it works great.
