Daikin Zoned 3.5 ton not Optimally Dehumidifying

Post by J.pujol »

I have a Daikin air conditioner model DX17VSS421AA and gas furnace model DM80VC0805CN with an EEV coil. It has 3 zones managed by the EWC 3000. The biggest issue is during the night when the ambient dew point is above 70 degrees the relative humidity in the house is 60-63%. I've noticed during the daytime when the temperature exceeds 75°, the relative humidity in the house is 55 to 58%. It rarely drops to 50% RH except in the cooler winter months.

The installer did not provide a dehumidifier with the system. I need help with the system so the RH is consistently 50%.
