Damper Motors Compatible With EcoNet Zone Controller
I am looking to install a EcoNet zone controller model REPNL700ZON to go with my new modulating Rheem furnace and A/C combo but having trouble determining what damper actuators are compatible with this controller. I currently have EWC MA-ND5 actuators which I think are compatible but nobody seems to be able confirm or deny this. Anybody have any experience with these controllers or know which actuators work?

Your MA-ND5 motor actuators are compatible with Rheem/Ruud EcoNet communicating HVAC systems. The MA-ND5 motor actuator is a "floating Point" actuator that modulates via the EcoNet zone controller, as it receives commands from the Primary/Master thermostat for all connected zones on the network.
The REPNL700ZON zone controller is manufactured by EWC Controls, as well as the MA-ND5 equipped dampers. However, Rheem manufacturing provides the technical support for these products.
