hi i have an armstrong ultra 90 hi efficient furnace with a trolAtemp damper control zone . and master slave setup
and i bought a nest t.stat 3d generation , the wires going to the t.stat are 6 wires and they are r.w.y.g.o.b
but when i tried to wire it it didn't work i called nest tech support and they said that they are not compatible with the master skave setup . i know this t.stat is got to be compatible , can u help me?

You have to up grade the control board to a NCM-300. It is not compatable.

Has anyone tried to use the Nest as the Master thermostat in the system instead of the slave, and will simply wiring the nest as the master on the control board solve the problem?

Will not wire up as a master stat. Change the board to a NCM-300.
