I have to replace my thermostats as one has LED failure and does not indicate proper temperature.
My Heating System is: Goodman GMN95/GCH/95 GCH9 Gas Fired Warm Air Furnace and Air Conditioner.
EWC TB226 Model NCM300 Zone Control Panel using Two (2) zones upstairs and main floor
Current Thermostats: RobertShaw RS2110 Battery Powered 3A. (two)
I wish to replace current thermostats with Honeywell RTH 8580 WF requiring 24Volt power.
Current set up has Robertshaw thermostat terminal blocks: [Y] [R] [G] [W] [RC/O] [RH/B] The current wires go to:
yellow, Green, White, Red to RC/O and a red "jumper" from RC/O to RH/B. There is NO wire connected to [R]
There is an available "blue" wire" which is NOT connected.
Current set up in the NCM300 control panel Thermostat terminal blocks for each of the thermostats do NOT have a wire connected to the [C] terminal. There is a Blue wire available coming from the thermostat.
I wish to be sure that connecting the available "Blue" wire to the [C] terminals at both the control panel and the thermostat will provide the correct wiring connection and the 24 volt power required for the thermostats.
I am new to the forum and
Thank you,

Re: Honeywell RTH8580 Thermostat for Replacement
yes connecting the blue wire to "C" on both the panel and the thermostat will give you 24 volt power to operate the thermostat.
