What is the benefit of an electronic bypass damper versus a barometric bypass damper? Is it just to stop the bypass from moving all the time? Does it help with the efficiency, the life of the blower motor, or the output temps. Why go electronic when a barometric has been used for so long.

An electronic bypass damper is more precise than a barometric bypass, you can set the pressure switch on the electronic bypass damper to hold that setting during any situation giving you superior control compared to the barometric bypass damper.
