Is the Honeywell 8110U programmable thermostat compatible with the EWC -ST-2B zone control?
We just had a new furnace installed and I asked the tech to replace the current thermostat (Honeywell 3110D) with the 8110U from our previous house. The main issue is that when the master thermostat (8110U) is set to off, it does not kill the functions of the slave thermostat. All other functions seem to operate normally.
I am trying to determine if the thermostat is incompatible or if the techs need to change a setting in the furnace (Lenox EL296V).
Thanks,
Marty

Re: Honeywell 8110U
Marty,
That thermostat is not compatible for the master zone (zone 1) of you panel. You will need to purchase a thermostat with a separate o and b terminals, unfortunately the 8110U thermostat you have has a combined 0/b terminal.
