Can I use (2) ST-2D panels to run 4 zones?

I currently have a ST-2D control, Gas furnace / AC / 2 Zones. I want to add another Zone possibly 2 for a total of 4 zones.

I have another ST-2D Contol, can I use the "Additional Zone Panel" on both panels and use 2x(ST-2D) controls to control 4 zones? Help would be appriciated.

Any negatives on using (2) panels with (2) zones each instead of geting a new (4) zone panel?

Yes, that can be done. Follow the wiring schematic on Page 5 of the Technical Bulletin found here:

Be sure to use 1 transformer to power both panels, keeping polarity the same. Also, only wire the Master Thermostat and Equipment to the original control panel.
