Lost power to air handler - where to start?

Post by julmer2010 »

I had a local technician here two weeks ago. He replaced the coils in my air handler. Just got back from vacation and there seems to be no power to the air handler. LED lights are on in the BMPlus 3000.

He installed something called a Hartell safety switch. Other than that nothing obviously different. Status light is blinking and Zones 1, 2, and 3 are lit (although I dont have a Zone 3).

Any thoughts on where to start?

Thanks

What makes you think you do not have power at your air handler?
The safety switch you refer to is probably part of a condensate pump.
If that pump was blocked or the pump had failed, it is possible that power could be remover from your air handler.
Do you have two low voltage wires coming from that safety switch?
