Looking for some guidance...
During a damper repair, the circuit board on a MA-SMDL Motor Actuator appeared to short out. The actuator arm made contact with two solder points on the circuit board, there was a spark, and now the motor runs continuously.
(I tried removing the wires going to the MA-SMDL from the control panel, and reattaching them - hoping to "reset" the circuit board - but once reattached the motor once again ran continuously.)
Is there a way to "reset" the MA-SMDL actuator?
Do I need to replace the MA-SMDL motor actuator?
Is it possible that the short damaged the control panel? How can I confirm?
Assuming I need to replace the MA-SMDL Motor Actuator, where can I find a replacement?
If the MA-SMDL Motor Actuator has been discontinued, is there a replacement model available?
Any help and advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Replacement for MA-SMDL Motor Actuator
Good morning and Merry Christmas. The MA_SMDL actuator is no longer available, the whole damper needs to be replaced. You did not mention which board you are using, its never go well when there is a spark. Give me a call 1-800-446-3110 X490.
