UZC Problem in Cool Mode

Post by jedwilli »

I have a UZVC4 that worked perfectly through the winter. Four thermostates with four dampers worked perfectly.

In cool mode however I have a problem. If two or more zones are requesting for cool those zones open and the system cools correctly.

However if zone 1 request for cooling by itself, the emergency led comes on, the system goes into high fan speed and blows warm air. I swapped zones 1 and 2 just to verify this wasn't a wiring issue or thermostat issue and the problem stayed with zone 1. The system fan control is set to all - at this point I'm clueless. Any ideas?

Check the position of the RA/DA micro switch. It should be in the DA position(to the right). #5 on the bottom bank of switches

Hold down reset for 5 seconds if you change it.

Airteam is correct Jedwilli....The RA/DA dip switch must be set to DA or it will attempt to perform a de-humidify function...because there is no control connected to the Aux R input terminal.

Thanks Airteam!
