Re: UT3000 humidifier/de-humidifier

I use this configuration and it works great in North Texas (Dallas). My humidifier runs when it needs to and the system keeps the humidity down (or gets it down) when it gets bad. It will sometimes overcool a little, assuming you have that option set.

Re: UT-3000 showing Emergency Heat with a Gas only furnace

Heat / B and Zones 1,2,3 (Sometimes just one of two of the zones. Also, sometimes the dry relay light is on.

It also appears that the system will not move to the 2nd stage in this scenario. Even if the demand for heat is high in all 3 zones.

UT-3000 showing Emergency Heat with a Gas only furnace

Is it normal for a gas only setup to have the Emergency Heat light lit on the UT-3000? It hasn't been before today that I have noticed. I am on 1.17.

Re: UT-3000, 3 Nests, ComfortNet system and a Humidifier

That does help, thanks.

One quick follow-up question... How would it benefit me to use a networked thermostat in one zone? I'd probably use it for the upstairs since that's where my bedroom and the HVAC system is--assuming it helps with noise control.

UT-3000, 3 Nests, ComfortNet system and a Humidifier

I have 3 Nest Thermostats and 3 Zones on one HVAC system. I am planning to upgrade that system to a Goodman DSXC/HMVC ComfortNet compatible system. After some research, I learned I'd be missing out on a lot of functionality unless I upgraded my zone control board and that my Nests are very limited ...
