Re: Dehumidification with BMPlus 3000 and Honeywell Prestige

Excellent. I appreciate all your help.

I will try the One Zone feature as per the wiring diagram to enable whole house dehumidification and will update you.

Just one quick question though.
Currently, I have 50% Rule switch turned ON in the control board and I am wondering, if this One Zone ...

Re: Dehumidification with BMPlus 3000 and Honeywell Prestige

Yes, I need a diagram depicting this, please.

Could you explain what exactly would happen with this One Zone scenario when the contacts are closed?

Does the One Zone feature keep dampers in both zones open?
Does this also activate G and Y1 control board input terminals in both zones?

Re: Dehumidification with BMPlus 3000 and Honeywell Prestige

Thanks for the wiring diagram and it certainly helps. I have a question though.

Currently I have a Honeywell Prestige HD thermostat wirelessly connected to the Equipment Interface Module (EIM) and then connected with wires to Zone-1 input in the BMPlus 3000 control panel. The EIM has 3 built-in ...

Dehumidification with BMPlus 3000 and Honeywell Prestige HD

Is it possible to get a wiring diagram to address this specific scenario with DHM terminal in the Honeywell Prestige HD thermostat and the DHUM terminal in the Carrier Variable Speed furnace board for whole house dehumidification using the 'One Zone' feature in the BMPlus 3000 control board?

Re: BMPlus 3000 blower-off delay

Thanks for the update. Have a question though.

The Y1 terminal in the system block has already connected to Y1 terminal from the air handler.

If I move the G wire to Y1, will it have both G and Y1 wires on the same terminal?

Will this scenario work for both cooling and heating? I thought this ...

Re: BMPlus 3000 and Honeywell Prestige

Thanks for the great information. Have a question though.

How do I have the whole house utilize the DHUM function of the carrier variable speed air handler with one Prestige thermostat connected to one Zone?

I thought the "One Zone" terminal in the BMPlus 3000 controller board would help achieve ...

BMPlus 3000 and Honeywell Prestige

I recently upgraded my HVAC system to Carrier Infinity 2-stage compressor, 2-stage furnace and Variable Speed Blower. The two thermostats that I have been using are Honeywell Vision Pro 8000 in both Zone-1 (middle floor) and Zone-2 (upper floor) and the system is working fine. However, the humidity ...

Re: BMPlus 3000 blower-off delay

I never use 'fan-on' function in the thermostat and it is always set in 'auto' mode. This setting, however, allows the fan to run few mins. even after the cooling cycle is complete and it causes the humidity rise a little higher.

If I change the G wire in system terminal block to Y (I have either ...

BMPlus 3000 blower-off delay

I found in earlier rev. of BMPlus 3000, there was a switch for blower-off delay that could be used to adjust the time the blower runs after the cooling cycle. I think it could be set either 0 or 90 sec. In Rev. B of this board, I can't see this switch at all.

I have carrier variable speed blower ...
