Isn’t damper just dump 24v system? How would it know if it’s honeywell or not?
I thought UT3000 doesn’t care and can control any 24v plain simple dampers

Re: Ut3000 zoning weight behavior
Why not to add options to control air flow? I don’t really get why zone weight feature is needed if it’s just controls BTU. Basically I buy 4 tons system and make it 3 ton with this feature?

Re: Ut3000 zoning weight behavior
Currently, I have 2 zones 50% and 50%.
So if I do 25% and 25% what actually happens?
Air flow is being reduced? As the dumper only have 2 positions open or closed In don’t quite understand the “zone weight” functionality.
The system is: Heat pump Daikin Fit with UT3000 zoning board

Reduce CFM when one zone is closed
Hello there, I have 3.5 Daikin Fit (enhanced) outdoor unit and 5 ton Daikin 115v air handler. 2 stories 2200sqft house. Each floor has one zone controlled by UT 3000. My issue is when one zone is closed the air handler still blows 1300+ CFM. Is there anyway to reduce air handler speed when only one ...

Re: SAS Sensor heating temprerature
Thank you! I tested and the SAS sensor is working perfectly. I now need to confirm what is the expectation from 3.5 ton hear pump to produce heat? (No furnace and no heating strips)
Based on your experience how hot air could be produced by heat pump on average?

Indoor thermostat set on 71, but never reaches 71F only 69 when outdoor temperature is 40-43F (house is 2 floor, 2200 sqft ...

Re: Daikin Fit - high fan speed during purge
I also struggle from these 100% air flows.. I am not sure if it’s related to the purge feature though. Just in the middle of night a few times for sure air handler is working on full and blowing cold air in heating mode

Ut3000 zoning weight behavior
I have a bit oversized system for my ducts. So when ut3000 switches between zones I get B3 error stating the blower motor functioning is limited. Currently, zone1 is 50% and zone 2 is 50% out of 2 total zones. My question is if I reduce zoning to 40% and 40% (if it’s possible) will it reduce the air ...
