Call a HVAC contractor there could be a problem with your Trane equipment

You can update the software. But we have to do it in house for you we do not have anything online to update your zone board.

Yes if you think your CTK01 is bad then you can swap it out for a CTK04

I am going to recommend you get a HVAC Tech out to your house and take a look at what's going on.
