Re: Combining two zones
Actually, I changed it and jumped the 3 T-wires for the two zones instead. That seems to have fixed the issue and everything is working as it should.

Should I have jumped the T-wires instead of the M-wires?

Combining two zones
I have a EWC OR-6 control panel. I wanted to combine two of my 4 zones, so I removed the thermostat wires to Zone 2 and jumped all of the M connections (M1, M2, M4, M5 and M6) across the Zones 1 and 2 in the panel. This seemed to work at first, but now I've noticed that both damper motors are ...

How to diagnose zone damper problem
One of the zone dampers in my system is not opening. The controller panel is an EWC-OR-6 Ultra Zone. Is there a way I can diagnose the problem -- would it be the damper motor or the zone relay? I do not have testing equipment. Is there another way to isolate the cause?

Slide switch position
The slide switches on my EWC-OR-6 Ultra Zone controller panel are all set to "O" (Open). Is this the typical setting? Intuitively, to me it seems like "C" would be the normal position. Re: Where is C-wire
I was hoping not to have to go that route. I realize the thermostat would not control the heat/cool/fan functions -- I would still use the master switch for that. Is there any chance of finding a suitable c-wire connection using the existing panel?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Where is C-wire
I have a EWC-OR-6 Ultra Zone controller panel (with 4 heating/cooling zones). I want to connect a Honeywell wifi thermostat but it requires a C-wire. I have run a spare wire from the thermostat to the zone controller, but can't figure out where to connect it (don't want to guess wrong). Honeywell ...
